Full Course Descriptions

Select courses currently offered on campus at the Children's Ministries Institute are available online. Each course will be eight to ten weeks in length and will promote weekly interaction between students and instructors. Courses can be applied towards several of the Children's Ministries Institute's Certificate and Diploma programs.

Class size will be limited to twenty students and each class will be assigned to an online instructor. Some courses will deliver course content through streaming video presentations.

All courses will be asynchronous meaning that students will not be required to be online at specified times during the course. Interaction with other students through forum discussions and assignment completion can take place as the student's time allows each week as long as assignment deadlines are met.

Students can expect to spend 10 - 12 hours each week viewing course presentations, interacting with other students and completing course assignments. If you are a very detailed person or you spend additional time interacting online other than the time required, you could spend more than 12 hours completing coursework.
